As suggested by the movie The Secret, and the books on the Law of Attraction, we have to ask for the things we desire, fully believe that we can have that which we ask for, and be grateful when we do receive the blessings we've requested. Feel free to use this cute little box as a tool in such a quest.

Write down your desire on a small piece of paper, filled with all the intent you can muster, truly believing you will have it. Be sure to word it in the most positive way possible (avoid "don't", "not" and other negative words) so that you get exactly what you are asking for. Then when you are ready to release your wish to the Powers That Be (the Universe, God, or your chosen Divinity), place this paper in the box and close it.

Keep the box in view, but try not to open it often. Remember that you put your desires in it, but don't WORRY about how you will get what you asked for. Focus on the fact that you have asked for what you want, and you have let your worries about it go.

Don't sit around waiting for it to 'magically' happen, though. When presented with opportunities that will bring you closer to your goal, take them! This is the Universe/God bringing you what you've asked for!

These small wooden boxes measure 3.5" x 2.5" x 1.75" tall, with brass hinges and a small set of inlaid magnets to hold it closed. I've burned the words and symbols on the box by hand, and sealed it with an acrylic sealant. The beauty will last for a long time with a little care - simply wipe with a damp cloth to clean it.
